Consolidated B-24D-M Liberator in USAAF-RAF-RAAF-MLD-IAF-CzechAF & CNAF service, PB4Y-1/2 Privateer in USN-USMC-Aeronavale & CNAF service
Ernest R. McDowell
The Consolidated B-24 Liberator is an American heavy bomber, designed by Consolidated Aircraft of San Diego, California. It was known within the company as the Model 32, and some initial production aircraft were laid down as export models designated as various LB-30s, in the Land Bomber design category.
This book on the Liberator is the first title in the AIRCAM AVIATION series to deal with a multi-engined bomber and is the first of two books covering the Liberator and Privateer during their long period of service during the wartime and postwar years.
